You have to try out which one gives you a lower latency setting. Asio will give you better results than MME you'll get that latency down using the better driver. You'll obviously have to have a sound card that uses Asio. Once you change the driver it will become active. You should then be able to get the latency down. So it's a case of experimenting. If you don't have a pro sound card download the ASIO4ALL drivers this will allow you to get better results using your on board sound card.
